The launch of the Africa Urban Sanitation Investment Initiative (AUSII), represents a new financing window for the African Water Facility, a special fund hosted by the African Development Bank. The event will present the AUSII as a sanitation window to improve sanitation access to safely managed sanitation for the urban poor in Africa through inclusive and innovative sanitation approaches. It will show AUSII’s ambition and targets including preparation of bankable projects, downstream financing ambitions and expected impact.

Please note that this event is an update to the Global Event on Mobilising Commitments for Implementing the African Union High-Level Panel Investment Action Plan, previously communicated to take place on 27 August at 09:30 at the Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel. All existing RSVPs will be taken across to this new joint event.
