During COP 28 UAE, the African Union Commission, in collaboration with the High-Level Panel, launched the Africa Water Investment Action Plan to guide AU Member States on mobilising climate resilient water investments on the continent.
This event will bring together AU Members States, AU institutions, and development partners to share progress on resource mobilisation and leveraging of investments in support of the AUC’s climate resilience water security agenda. Additionally, the event will:
- Showcase synergies between the AUC’s initiatives in supporting Member States in mobilising climate finance.
- Share knowledge and lessons on accelerating GCF readiness for climate resilient water investments in Africa
- Share perspectives on how to accelerate the mobilisation of finance for climate resilient water security.
